The main aim of the trip was to take part in a performance of a play Unique Talents, written by the Italians at the Liceo Teatro Nuovo in Turin, together with students from Turkey, France and Italy. They had been rehearsing since May to learn their parts, in English, and were word-perfect by the time we arrived in Italy. However, they had two days of rigorous rehearsals in Turin before the performance at the Teatro Erba on Wednesday 14th November 2012
Under the direction of Simone Moretto and Franca, the choreographer, the French, Italian and Spanish students did a wonderful job of acting their parts, accompanied by some fantastic music performed by the Turkish students. Everybody had to learn how to move on stage, project emotions and their voices, and even sing together!
It was a wonderful experience, an introduction to the world of theatre that we will never forget. Congratulations to all the students who took part and thank you for your dedication and hard work. You did a great job!
